Riding to the Grand Ole Opry to sing yesterday and what do I see? Something that means more to me today than it did a month ago :)

I have always taken the phrase, “Don’t miss the bus” seriously. In middle and high school, I rode the Metro city bus home from school. I was a little girl in a big world - and that big world wasn’t going to wait for me; I was going to have to catch up and keep up.

As I get older and further along in this career, it often gets tougher to know if I’m keeping up or not. The algorithm makes that even tougher to tell. As for playing catch up…well, the way this world works has everyone chasing serenity now. It’s too much…but I digress.

But THIS Club; ahhh. I made it on the bus...and nobody’s looking at me weirdly and telling me that the open seat next to them is “taken” just because they don’t want me to sit down. Nope. I belong.

I’m happy to be in the club. I’m happy you are, too.
