At this moment in time, we all feel some sort of despair. Our lives and livelihoods are at the mercy of deeply narcissistic, unspeakably greedy tech overlords who seem to lack any trace of empathy or humanity. Simultaneously, right-wingers are deploying a power structure that erases Black, brown, and queer culture and communities at every turn.

What we are building here, in the land of Record Bin, is not a structure of centralized control. Rather, we are building a community of collective care rooted in a culture of thoughtful cooperation.

Here's why: Systems built on/with fear, greed, and corruption are very fragile because they are top heavy. But when you co-create a just and joyful world from the bottom up, with everyone working together for a fair share, that's one worth living in (or listening to!)... and beaming with pride over.
